2006 Menghai Banzhang Ecology King Tea is an aged ripe Pu’er tea from Menghai, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan.
Made from tea leaves harvested from ecological plantations in Banzhang area, processed by traditional solid fermentation. The dry tea is tight and glossy with abundant golden buds. After brewing, the liquor is deep reddish-brown and clear, with steady aged aroma, subtle woody and honey notes.
It delivers smooth, mellow and thick taste with gentle sweet aftertaste, nearly no astringency. The tea becomes mild after long-term aging.
